Lunchtime Chat with Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum

Join OSPIRG and Environment Oregon for a special event: a lunchtime chat with Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum on May 3 at 12:00 p.m. We'll hear about her work on behalf of Oregon consumers and our environment.

OSPIRG has worked closely with AG Rosenblum in our efforts to pass comprehensive privacy protections for Oregonians. OSPIRG is a member of the Oregon Consumer Privacy Task Force, convened by AG Rosenblum to develop policy giving Oregonians control over how their online data is used. Learn more about the recent efforts of this task force and its plans in the 2023 legislative session.

OSPIRG and AG Rosenblum have also worked together closely to stand up for student borrowers. With the average Oregon student loan borrower owing over $38,000 by the time they graduate and Oregonians' collective student debt totaling more than $20.5 billion dollars, we'll discuss what Oregon has already done to combat this problem and additional actions needed.
