What is love? What is sexy? With Valentines Day around the corner, I’m seeing those questions a lot right now.
Here at Environmental Action, we’ve always thought that activism is pretty sexy. And there’s no greater love than the love we share for mother earth.
So this Valentines Day, skip the pink cards and chocolate hearts - and instead - share how sexy, loving and awesome you look when you speak up for the planet. Here’s a few examples, click to add your own:

- You’ll be redirected to a page with instructions for how to email in your own photo, and some handy signs you can use to take your own #activismselfie
- Your photo could be a selfie from the People’s Climate March, or another recent action - or just a photo of you at your computer or on your phone. After all, that’s where you are right now, and there’s no looking for (environmental) action online.
It's not just a fun distraction for Valentine's Day (though we hope it is that). By showing off activism and action for the planet on a holiday associated with romance and love, we hope to show everyone an alternative to commercialized beauty stereotypes. And that's something I think we'd all love to see.
